Limited Warranty Policy

This Limited Warranty Policy ("Warranty Policy") applies to Akriti Precision Systems Private Limited ("APSPL," "we," "us," or "our") branded hardware and software products ("Products") sold or leased by APSPL, its subsidiaries, affiliates, authorized resellers, or authorized distributors through https://akriti.tech ("Website") or other authorized sales channels. This Warranty Policy outlines your rights and obligations regarding warranty services for APSPL Products, in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and other applicable laws.

By purchasing or leasing a Product, you ("Customer," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by this Warranty Policy, which supplements our Terms and Conditions of Sales and Service.

APSPL warrants that its Products are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the Warranty Period, subject to the conditions below.

If a Product is found defective during the Warranty Period, APSPL, at its sole discretion, will:

Inspect Products upon receipt and report any visible damage or defects within 7 days of delivery to initiate a warranty claim, in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Retain all original packaging for inspection in case of damage claims.

You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the defect is covered under this Warranty Policy or as required by applicable law. APSPL will cover shipping costs for repaired or replaced Products returned to you.

This Warranty Policy does not cover:

To the extent permitted by Indian law, APSPL disclaims all implied warranties (e.g., merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose) beyond the express Warranty Period. APSPL’s maximum liability under this Warranty Policy is limited to the purchase price paid for the Product.

Software included with Products is warranted only to the extent specified in the applicable end-user license agreement (EULA) provided with the Product. APSPL does not warrant that software will be error-free or meet specific performance expectations, except as required by law.

APSPL offers complimentary limited technical support during the Warranty Period via:

In compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019:

For international customers, additional consumer rights may apply under local laws, and APSPL will comply where applicable (e.g., GDPR for data-related warranty claims).

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

APSPL is not liable for delays or failures in providing warranty services due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, government actions, or supply chain disruptions. We will notify you of such events and work to mitigate impacts.

This Warranty Policy is governed by the laws of India and the State of Karnataka. Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. Unresolved disputes will be settled by binding arbitration in Bangalore, Karnataka, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with a single arbitrator appointed mutually. Courts in Bangalore have exclusive jurisdiction for non-arbitrable matters. Consumers may file complaints with the appropriate consumer forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

If any provision of this Warranty Policy is found unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed without affecting the validity of the remaining provisions.

APSPL may update this Warranty Policy at its discretion. Changes will be posted on https://akriti.tech/limited-warranty with an updated “Last Updated” date. We will notify customers of material changes via email or Website notice where feasible. Continued use of the Product or warranty services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

This Warranty Policy, together with the Terms and Conditions of Sales and Service, Privacy Policy, and any applicable EULA, constitutes the entire agreement between you and APSPL regarding Product warranties. No prior representations or agreements apply unless in a separate written agreement signed by an authorized APSPL representative.
